Overview
Join our dynamic workplace safety consulting team as a Site Safety Officer. In this role, you will lead safety initiatives, enforce regulations, and foster a culture of proactive risk management. You will ensure that this project progresses smoothly, safely, and in full adherence to industry standards. Duties

  • Monitor comprehensive site safety plans aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), industry best practices, and owner specific protocols.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk management evaluations to identify potential issues before they escalate.

  • Oversee compliance management processes to ensure all construction activities adhere to EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) policies and local regulations.

  • Lead safety training sessions(toolbox talks, safety orientations) for workers, contractors, and visitors to promote awareness of occupational health best practices and safe work procedures.

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Coordinate with construction management teams to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and project timelines.

  • Maintain accurate records using construction management software for inspections, incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation.

Skills

  • Experience in construction site safety management with knowledge of OSHA regulations.

  • Familiarity with EHS practices, compliance management tools, and construction management software platforms.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams, conduct safety briefings, and liaise with regulatory agencies.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
